In 2024, replying to a request for financial support from the Comboni Institut in Brazil to install a water reservoir tank, following water difficulties in the neighbourhood where the institut is located in Salvador da Bahia - Brazil, the CLT approved an exceptional donation for the purchasing and installation of the water tank.

By the end of 2024, we received the following thank you message and pictures of the new reservoir:

"

Receive cordial greetings from Brazil from the Board of Directors of Daniel Comboni Institute. We are delighted to let you know that we finally came to the completion of the water Project. We had our tank of water installed a week ago. We had had some delay due to rain problems. Over the past two months we had rains and due to that drilling couldn’t proceed. Anyway, unforseen issues happen. Our tank has the capacity of containing 5,000 litres (Five Thousand). We are quiet certain that we won’t any longer have water suppy problems. We will be able to cater to the needs of children, sick and elderly, that is to say, those who may always need water as they take part of the institute’s programs.
We had unforseen budget issues in the sense that the task force costed more than what we expected (more than a double). For this reason, being an essential endeavor , we decided to proceed by using part of resources (finantial that we had). Of course, it was  just to add up to what you had donated us. 
We are coming to the end of the year and it’s really good to see the progress of the institute in terms of activities. We see people happily taking part of the life of the institute and who see the institute as a reference point in their lives especially those of their children. We are sure that all this wouldn’t be possible without your generous support and those of the CERN members. Please, extend our heart gratitude to all the CERN members. We always remember each one of you in our humble prayers for your generosity.
