About the "Long-Term Collections"...

The Long term Collections are a discrete, but effective activity of the CERN Staff Association that allows CERN Staff members to contribute for projects that can make a difference for communities in need, in particular in developing countries. These contributions can take the form of a periodic or occasional donation.

This activity began at CERN shortly after the Bern Declaration. The Social Service and the CERN Staff Association submitted the idea to the Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) on the 18.08.1970 and received the green light of the SAC for the first projects on the 02.25.1971.

With YOUR contributions and the support from the CERN Staff Association, the CLT committee has supported more than 70 projects during the last 50 years !!!

À propos des "Collectes à Long Terme"...

Les collectes à long terme sont une activité discrète, certes, mais efficace, dans le cadre de l'Association du Personnel du CERN qui permet aux personnes intéressées à venir en aide de communautés en difficulté, notamment dans des pays en voie de développement. Cette aide peut avoir la forme d’un don ponctuel ou des dons périodiques.

Cette action débute au CERN peu après la Déclaration de Berne. Le Service Social du CERN et l'Association du Personnel ont soumis l'idée au Comité Consultatif Permanent (CCP) du 18.8.1970 et ont finalement reçu le feu vert lors du CCP du 25.2.1971.

Avec VOTRE aide et celle de l«association du personnel, les CLT ont soutenu plus de 70 projets pendant les dernières 50 ans !!
